In the above photo can be seen clearly some of the extensive and I think ongoing vandalism in this churchyard. The graves in the churchyard of Saint Marks church are mostly Victorian and quite a few are from the 1830 - 1850 period.
I find it quite sad that anyone looking for a trace of a long gone ancestor should perhaps discover that the headstone is willfully damaged. Also it is not easy to identify a grave if the headstone has been pushed over.
Aaww, that's not right. People should show respect at the cemetery.

It's quite sad to hear about things like this. I just don't understand why anyone would do something like that.
