This picture shows a part of the churchyard of the church of Saint Mark, Woodhouse, Leeds. As can be seen from this photograph this part of he churchyard is badly overgrown with trees and bushes.
Sadly this is not the worst of it, trees can be trimmed or cut down, elsewhere in the churchyard there is vandalism with headstones smashed and displaced.
The church of Saint Mark in Woodhouse Leeds is a Waterloo church, one of around 600 erected as a monument to the victory over the French at Waterloo by Wellington and the British army in 1815.
